This is still reproductible in OpenOffice Writer v2.0.3.

Right now it is 50 characters, which is not much, especially for research
papers, which often have long titles.

Search for any term, eg. "operating system" or "distributed" on CiteSeer (
http://citeseer.ist.psu.edu/ ) and you will easily find papers with titles way
longer than the current limit.

Examples:

 - 73: "Active Messages: a Mechanism for Integrated Communication and
Computation"
 - 83: "High Performance Messaging on Workstations: Illinois Fast Messages (FM)
for Myrinet"
 - 129: "A Scalable Dynamic Load-Balancing Algorithm for SPMD Applications on a
Non-Dedicated Heterogeneous Network of Workstations (HNOW)"

Please expand the length of the booktitle field to over 150 characters, eg. 200
or 250.

Thanks,
Ernst Rohlicek jun.
