The inner plot area is now resizes thus the axes labels don't go beyound a given
diagram size while keeping the font size of the labels correct.
For the inner plot area a certain minimum of the given space is reserved.
This minimum is a third of the given width or high.
If the axes labels just do not fit into the offered maximum space they exceed
the given space at the moment as last consequence. Please check this for
useability. Another approach would be to break the label or clip them in that
extrem cases.
