It would seem that /usr/share/fonts is not inside the fontconfig font cache ->
that means all toolkits relying on fontconfig (like gtk, qt and also OOo's vcl)
will not know about those fonts. On the machine where we can reproduce this
/usr/share/fonts was in /etc/fonts/font.conf, so a simple "fc-cache -f" as root
should fix that problem.
