The ExtendedPDF (see http://www.3bview.com/epdf-home.html) is able to embed the
(b) part of my request (i.e., open the pdf file with x levels of bookmarks).
Siince it is a macro of OenOffice, surely it should be possible to internalize
that function?

About the(a) part of my request, the magnification is the property of the
document; NOT a user preference (as seen in Acrobat's "File> Document
properties" menu). So OOo should be able to embed these parameters in the file
itself.

In fact, the pdf file has many more useful properties:
1. Show what (pages only, pages+bookmarks, etc).
2. Page layout (default, single, continuous, facing, facing continuous)
3. Magnification (Default, 25% to 6400%, fit page, fit width, etc.)
4. Open to page no. xx
5. etc. etc.

OOo should cover those parameters too. (Why stop at a select few?)
