------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Tue Sep 5 02:58:42 -0700 2006 ------- 1)Create a new Impress presentation. 2)Double click to apply a layout (eg, the "Tile, Text" layout). 3)Type some text into the title. 4)Right click the layout and choose "Insert Slide". 5)Press PgUp to go back to the previous slide, select the text in the title. You will find that the Cut and Copy commands on the Edit menu are grayed out. 6)If you deselect the text, then select it again, you'll find the commands are now enabled. Note that step 4 is critical.
