------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Tue Sep 5 04:08:16 -0700 2006 ------- I access a table in a postgresql database via the unixODBC driver. Some cells in the table contain values with german Umlauts (ä,ö,ü....). When i use the datasource with OOo 2.0.3, than the Umlauts geht mangled (seems they are represented as a "double-character"). When accessing the postgresql table with other tools like knoda, rekall or pgaccess, the characters are displayed correctly. All OOo components (Writer, Base, Calc) show invalid characters. Unfortunately unlike in version 1.1.x of OOo, in the 2.x there is no "Character Set" option in the datasource dialog any more. Just to be sure: i speak from the content of a cell, not the row headers! --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
