Yes, the OOo ActiveX control is no more registered for MSOffice document
formats. Please see the issue 43100 for details.
But the description could be treated, as if Internet Explorer did not try to
open the MSOffice document in OOo at all. When OOo is registered for MSOffice
document formats during the installation ( and ActiveX control is not ) the
MSIE should just trigger the opening of the MSDocument in OOo in normal way.
MAV->LBAG: What exactly happens in your case when a link to MSOffice document in
MSIE is activated? Any dialog, error message, or another application is used?
