Verified functionality on Windows, the Package Manager does not crash anymore.
Did negative-test with OOD680m3/Windows
Regression Tests were performed on Linux and Windows.
For some yet unknown reason there is a timing problem with the extension manager
tests on Windows which could not be reproduced manually.
The autotests might have to be updated.
