------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Mon Sep 11 13:54:53 -0700 2006 ------- Installed OOo_2.0.4rc1_060904_LinuxIntel_install.tar.gz on Fedora Core 5 with all updates installed. Unicode input from keyboard no longer works (still works with 2.0.2 and 2.0.3 on the same system). This affects all (?) keyboard input (tested: Writer, Calc, Draw/text object, Writer Insert > Note dialog). To reproduce: 1) File > New > Text document 2) Type Ctrl+Shift+4+1 The digits are echoed as typed; as soon as either Ctrl or Shift is released, an 'A' (U+0041) should be inserted[*] Instead, as soon as either Ctrl or Shift is released, the echoed digits disappear and nothing is inserted. [*]This is the standard behavior for Gtk apps; currently an additional character (any character) must be typed for OOo to accept the unicode character (See Issue 59974). This is a regression from 2.0.3 and a P2 item, IMO. I assume someone is trying to fix 59974 (although there is no such comment under that issue) and maybe has caused some temporary breakage. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
