I have exactly the same issue. I recently formatted my hard disk, reinstalled
Windows Millenium edition (with all updates except language packs) and then OOo
2.0.3, Thunderbird 1.5.0.5 and SeaMonkey 1.0.4 amongst other software. After
having set these them as the default mail client, the problem occured again. I
just tested with Outlook Express (6.00.2800.1123), it didn't work either.
