------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Wed Sep 13 13:05:14 -0700 2006 ------- When a person opens a document in normal write mode, everyone else must use read-only access. It would be helpful for those other people to see the identity (user name or personal name) of the person locking the document. In some cases, the person with the lock is not actively using the document, so if other people know his identity, they can call his office to ask him to close it. BTW, this issue and issue 18730 (notify user when lock is released) complement each other. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
