If you insert into Write document file EPS with preview, you can save it. But one time. If you reopen it after that, you can't save file correctly. In newer version of odt, EPS with preview will dissapear. But not all of them (if there are more then one in document). It happens randomly. In example (test.odt) I create table with some different EPS files. After some cycles of (load-save-closeOO-open), I have 3 versions of same file, but in first version there are all EPS instances, in second one is missing, in third there are two of them are missings. HowTo produce bug: 1. Open attached test.odt (21,558Kb) in OO under Linux, when change something in it just to make sure, then save it under other name (say, test2). Close OpenOffice (this is VERY IMPORTANT). 2. Now you can just compare the size of files. The newer file is smaller (becouse of missing some EPS in it). 3. Open test2. Save it under name, say, test3.odt. Close OpenOffice. Repeat steps several times. You'll see the bug, I assure you. Under Windows Write (OpenOffice.2.0.2) just doesn't show EPS with no preview. All other things are seems well. In windows version of OO I can't produce this bug. It seems bug only in Linux version. Just for information: My system is Fedora Core 5 (2.6.17-1.2157_FC5) Version of OpenOffice: OpenOffice 2.0.3 (under Linux) and OpenOffice 2.0.2 (under Windows). I've attached some files: 1. test.odt (original file with EPS diagrams in it). 2. test2.odt (after load-save-close-open). One diagramm is missing. 3. test3.odt (after load-save-close-open).
