Migrated issue.
Comment from the original internal issue:
{N_f N} or {N sub f N} is displayed in a wrong way. The "f" tends to
the "N" on
the right side
JA: try do differentiate the above formua with {N N lsub{f}}
HDU: I would suggest to get the outlines of the involved characters. If their
intersection
is not empty then move the characters apart. For the availability of characters
use
the GetFontCharmap or HasGlyphs methods.
TL: Seems not to be a quite efficient solution... and probably to font/character
specific.
We do not want to have different indentions in the same formula when using
different font and/or symbols.
Need to think about a different solution.
TL->BH: To you since it is an enhancement.
Note: MS Office does also not indent the subscript towards the base character.
However it looks more attached to the character than by us, therefor something
should be done probably.
Please ask for further details.
TL: CMC should be asked if something like thst could be done for the MathML
impiort/export.
BH->TL: as we spoke about, back to you.
MRU: can be re-targeted to "office later"
