If you have entered several "pages" as a print range > in the File - Print dialog, only the pages (sheets) that have been > selected are printed. Indeed that text is a little mistakable because "sheet" and "page" seem to be used synonymous, (but they are not, please also see Issue 69794), what might have caused your misunderstanding. But the important message is "To select a sheet, click on the sheet name on the bottom margin of the workspace while keeping the Ctrl key pressed." Did you really select the sheets you wanted to print? If that selection is unchecked, you will get your pages 2-9 printed as you expect, but if you activate the additional filter "print only selected sheets", this filter will suppress print of all unselected sheets (in my 'screenshot.png' you see the difference between selected and unselected sheets.
