When opengl aka dri is available on the system we try to load it. If it later on crashes due to insufficient rights that's nothing we could control or influence. Parsing xorg.conf/XF86Config is no option for OO.o. Hence I'd suggest to file a bug against your distribution to provide a working xorg.conf/XF86Config. Keeping issue Closed/Invalid.
