------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Tue Sep 26 07:54:32 -0700 2006 ------- I created a master document in an otherwise empty directory, and subsequently did an insert file into the master document from the navigator. Formatting in the master document disappeared, and I discarded changes. Nonetheless, my original file was changed, without a dialogue box that said "Warning your original document may/will be changed. Do you want to continue? Yes/No." Moreover, the help on master documents did not clearly say that inserted documents may be changed. My bad. Now I must reformat my original document, manually, as it did not cross my mind that inserting a file into a master document would reformat it. MS Word is very much more user friendly in this regard. 1) Inserting a document into a master document should not affect the document being inserted. 2) If 1) is arbitrarily undesirable, then a last chance message (i.e., "Do you really want to? Yes/No") would be very much appreciated. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
