I shut down OO, removed the .openoffice.org2 directory in my homedir and fired it up again. Now export to XHTML does work, so probably the OOo 2.0.2 "infected" some stuff in there which did not allow the export function to work well. Thanks for trying the sample file out, that way I knew it had to be something local.
