re-factors some code, removes other chunks of obsolete code: removes the
'accessName' / string things, and the NameChar stuff - saves a chunk of memory
(duplicate counts):
110 cfg:value
112 cfg:any
285 cfg:localized
286 cfg:string
and (inevitably) makes it faster too ;-)
