------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Mon Oct 2 21:46:34 -0700 2006 ------- Hi, I managed to understand somehow Japanese instructions, having translated then with altavista. But in vain. I converted rpm files into deb ones and installed some additional red hat libraries. But printer didn't work. Most likely it works only in red hat. Has anybody managed to install these Japanese puxus rpms in debian? Turboprint is not good. Though it prints without problems from Openoffice, it is too fast, commercial and doesn't print colors perfectly. So the best drivers for Canon Pixus i560, i860, i990 in Debian remain to be Takushi Miyoshi's ones: http://mambo.kuhp.kyoto-u.ac.jp/%7Etakushi/ As for Openoffice, it is too picky for drivers, I think.
