Let me get this straight, they want entering "oo" result in "o" "<backspace>"
"o" and they post a new key event while again calling the commit callback to
achieve that - and expect that to work ? How broken is that. I think that's an
IM problem.
Also what do you mean by "backspace gets put into event queue" ? There is no
queuing involved inside vcl, so i guess you're talking the gtk event queue ?
