I think you haven't looked very carefully into the wiki page. The menu entries
ar far less than 100. Very often they are shared about the various applications.
For example 239602 is listed 6 times in the table. If you look at the key id it
will get clearer.
As for the UI freeze this is true for the source language. l10n bugs, and German
is among those languages, can be fixed up untill October 26th. Therefore I am
retargetting to 2.1
