The file I will shortly attach can be saved as ODS but crashes OOo 2.0.4 if you
try to save it in XLS format.

Steps to reproduce:
1. Open the attached file.
2. When prompted to update links, say No.
3. File -> Save as -> Microsoft Excel 97/2000/XP.

OOo rapidly allocates more than 1 GByte of memory, eventually leading to a
crash.

The answer in step 2 doesn't actually matter, crash occurs in both options.

If I break the link via Edit -> Links, crash does not occur any longer.

This resembles issue 65690 but is actually different: the problem there
described does not occur in OOo 2.0.4.

it public, on Italian mailing lists]
