I expect it will be the same for all OO files converted to pdf. I desperately need the relative paths I set in Impress preserved as the reporter describes when converting to pdf. I am developing course materials and without relative paths there must be a fixed installation point! :(!! Although this is listed as an Enhancement, I consider it a bug because the pdf converter is not maintaining link settings created in OO.
