When OpenOffice 1.9.79 (don't know earlier 1.9 sub-versions) imports text
documents with formulas or equation documents in SO 6/7 format, text in formulas
becomes italic (concerns also the operator lim), and the menu Format -> Fonts
indeed shows "Times New Roman, Italic" for "Text". This is very annoying, since
it has to be changed manually for each formula afterwards. However, this does
not occur with formulas in new documents.
Example: Make sxw or sxm document with formula
   "Test: " y = lim sin x
Then import into OpenOffice 1.9.79.
