If you double click on this font you should see a lot of squares and a version numer 1.7.6. You can check if the font contains the characters on the right places if you open a textdocument in Office and then select Insert->Special Character and choose OpenSymbol as the font. Then you can search for the normal single bullet (it is in line 5 the 3rd from left) and it should have Unicode Position 2022 (you can see this in the bottom right in this window).
