If they said yes to open MS Office file types with OOo while the installation of OOo they expect that this setting is kept until they change it by themselves. Unfortunately every update of MS office deletes the file types settings so that they will then be opened with MS Office. Now it would be good to have a command or menu in OOo to restore the file type settings changed by MS Office.
