Turn on the built-in OOo dialogs 4. Insert->Movie and Sound 5. Use the link http://fredrik.hubbe.net/plugger/testold.avi (>1MB) Results: - OpenOffice.org becomes unresponsive as it loads the .avi - In some cases, all X11 programs can stop responding while the .avi is loading. - The .avi seems to reload every time the slide is loaded, so flipping between slides is slow. - The video is linked, but it does not show in Edit->Links. - It is not possible to break the link (to embed the video). Inconsistency: - Inserting a .jpg in Insert->Picture->From file behaviors differently than the above.
