SBA: Jeffrey, you ran into a very common problem.
When doing cut and paste from other applications, you sometimes bring character
attributes into your document that are not wanted. For instance, the text is
bulletted (paragrahph attribute) or it is bold or the wrong font (character
attributes). These are easy to see and thus easy to adress (select text, choose
font, size, finished)
Now the LANGUAGE is only another character attribute. If you have a word that is
"obviously misspelled" and the spell checker won't join in, select the word, and
have a look: Format-Character, tab "fonts" - Then you will see that some evil
force has changed the character attribute to "English (Australian)". If your
office has no English (Australian) spell checker activated, the wrong words go
undetected.
So all you have to do is set your document back to the desired (=supported)
language.
Either by installing English (Australian) with the respective Wizard
(File-Wizards-Install new dictionatries...)
OR by setting the respective parts of the document (Select-All won't do harm) to
a language (i.e. English (US). Easiest: Select all, format-character, tab
"font", choose a language that is supported (blue check mark in the list) - OK.
That's ist.

Set to "Worksforme"
