------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Mon Oct 23 21:39:14 -0700 2006 ------- I have openoffice2.0.4 on linux, and I get almost the same behaviour. A single press and release of the alt button highlights (but doesn't drop down) the file menu. I have alt-tab bound to switching to the next window, and when I alt-tab away from ooffice, the highlight disappears when we alt tab back, *as it should*. Hence you can't reproduce the bug as described. *But*, I have other ways to switch focus, also involving the tab key. Or I can just randomly press alt during my session, and then start typing again when I change my mind. I firmly believe this is the incorrect behaviour. No other app under linux (and Windows, these days, if I recall correctly) highlights the menu under a single alt click. At the very least, this should be configurable, but under linux, alt without any other key pressed *concurrently* should be a no-op. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
