SBA: This works. Do this:
- Edit-Find and replace
- Click "Help"
- In the right panel, click "List of Regular Expressions"
- Read this:

"\xXXXX represents a special character based on its four-digit hexadecimal code
(XXXX).
The code for the special character depends on the font used. You can view the
codes by choosing Insert - Special Character."
<UNQUOTE>
So "\x0058" in the search field with "Regular expressions" checked finds "x" and
"X". Check "match case" too and you find only the exact match, wich is "X".
Personal note: Especially the Online Help really HELPS understanding and using
the already build-in features. One must only know what one is looking for. I
must admit that sometimes the search string itself must be known (searched for)
first :-)
Summary:
Already built-in and documented => Set to "Invalid".
