I am not sure that this is a bug. According to the Help:
"Regular expressions:
Allows you to use wildcards in your search."
It does not suggest that \n will be interpreted as a newline in Replace, merely
in the search (Find).
Find does find \n within a cell, eg entered as 'first line CTRL-ENTER next line'

Improved Help entries for this would be welcome though.
