With OOo, such strings may be broken when the line is wrapped to next line. I've tryed to use a user defined format containing nonbreakable space, without success. I've tried to work only with strings, and replaced spaces with nonbreakable space via a macro when affecting the value to a user field, without success. Nonbreakable spaces within amounts are mandatory in french areas. So I think that not supporting such characters in user fields should be considered as a defect.
