2006 -------
mmm, I ended up setting up a vmware machine today so I didn't need to wait to
reboot my machine into windows to build ( normally I build openoffice on linux
exclusively )
I set up a 'vanilla' build for m190 with 2005 Express. The build is now in
slideshow ( so its passed connectivity & canvas ) where at least a couple of
instance of 'std::remove' previously needed to be patched. I see no failures.
conclusion
a) ooo-build has changed something in a nasty way
b) my environment is somehow wrong/different from my "real" windows machine
I guess I will only find out for sure by building a ooo-build version on the
vmware machine instance
so I will close this, really I am sorry for the false alarm :-(
