------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Sat Dec 2 09:50:39 -0800 2006 ------- do OOo release sanity test 109188: "Open MS Word file in OpenOffice.org and save as OOo native" 1. open a MS-office doc file (in example attached lorem ipsum.doc) 2. save it as odt - leave default name as is (lorem ipsum.doc *) 3. the result is an overwritten original (lorem ipsum.doc) in odt format The resulting lorem ipsum.doc file can not be read by Word - it asks for a converter - but is recognized (!) by writer. see also issue 72209 - must be a general problem with the file I/O widget. *: - renamed to lorem ipsum 2.doc, because there's two lorem ipsum.doc files - the original and the one after save --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
