------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Sun Feb 27 20:47:16 -0800 2005 ------- Hi, When using the OOo2 Table Wizard to create a new table in Oracle 10g, when clicking the "Finish" button the following error pops up: "ORA-00906: Missing left parenthesis" It blocks the creation of the table completely, and allows no further progress. To replicate this, connect to an Oracle 10g database, then launch the Table Wizard to create a new table. Choose: Step 1: Category "Business", Sample Tables "Customers", and choose the CustomerID, CompanyName, and Address fields. Step 2: Just click Next Step 3: Choose "Create a primary key" and "Use an existing field as a primary key" and "CustomerID". Step 4: Just click Finish. The error appears. This is using the Oracle JDBC driver option in OOo2 Base, using the JDBC drivers that come with Oracle 10g, using Java 1.5.0_01. Not sure how to find and provide more useful information in this instance, so any pointers on how to provide further useful information would also be useful.
