I checked with "2.0.2 German version WIN XP: [680m5(Build9011)]" and was not
able to reproduce the problem:
1. Open a new File with menu "File - New - File - XML Form Document"
2. type some few contents
3. Menu "Tools - Options - OOo - General", check "Use OOo Dialogues" <OK>
4. Menu "File - Save as"
5. Type "file:///c:/test3.odt" <OK>
expected: File will be saved on drive C: root directory as 'test3.odt'
actual: as expected
That will not work using WINDOWS dialogues (an error message "no valid file
name" will occur), but I bleieve that is ok, because "file:///c:/test3.odt" is
no valid WIN file name.
@loxia
Please mention correct file name with "file:///", not "file://"!
What does "I can not ..." mean? An error message appears or you do not have the
heart to do it? ;-)
