------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Tue Dec 19 09:17:23 -0800 2006 ------- the soffice.bin openoffice.org quickloader uses 99% of cpu time. This is on a sempron 3000+ with 512mb ram and AVG free 7.5, firefox 2.0 and acrobat reader 7.08 as the only installed software. The same pc does not have this problem with the openoffice.org 2.04 quickloader.exe on a similar clean install. It obviously affects all openoffice.org applications and any other application running including standard windows screen savers.
