However, this would be a feature. @2: in the hyperlink dialog you can enter an alternative text for the link. This will make it much shorter than displaying the complete link. Normally with the TAB key you can select all the objects on an impress or draw page after another. This does not work in writer and if the content of a page is grouped. Then the complete group will be selected. There are two modes: editing mode and selecting mode. When some obejct is selected you can drag it arround. When text is in edit mode you have a blinking cursor in it and you can change it.
