Looks like you installed the bad X11 version.
Please install only the version located in your install DVD, the one shipped
with your machine.
Waiting, can you please try to start X11 ? The X11 application can be found in
Applications/Utilities
folder
Next step : dock it, and click the icon to launch it
Second step: in the opening xterm, please enter :
X -version
....and tell us what returns the command
And maybe we will be able to help you. If nothing works, you probably
downloaded a bad version.
