JA: I suppose you have CUPS configured as printing system. In this case the PPD
has to be configured there. (open a browser http://localhost:631) On the other
hand you could disable the CUPS usage within OpenOffice.org and force the
behaviour which you had in version 1.1.x:
open a shell and set the SAL_DISABLE_CUPS variable to a value unequal ""
export SAL_DISABLE_CUPS=1
Then (from that shell) you can import that PPD into soffice PPD configuration
using spadmin. As far as I tested there isn't a problem related to the PPD
options.
btw: The umlauts are broken within that PPD
