If you open an odt document where in the document in the (zipped) file
settings.xml the printername is defined as a printer that is not available
(anymore), the opening is very slow.
I have a Pentium 4 windows xp computer with ip-adres 192.168.1.12 with subnet
255.255.255.0. When I try to open a document where the printername in
settings.xml is defined as:
<config:config-item config:name="PrinterName"
config:type="string">\\172.16.180.50\lp1</config:config-item>
the opening of the document is very slow. The printername is not available while
the document is originated somewhere else.
If have not investigated if the slow opening depends on that I use another
ip-range then the one in the printername.
Is the printername in the document not defined it takes less then a second to
open the document but with the wrong printername it takes 23 seconds.
I can deliver a sample document.
