In my opinion the behaviour is correct as is. When switching between main
charttypes as much sub options are kept as possible.
So when switching from 3D column to stock charts the 3D setting cannot be kept
as stockcharts are not available in 3D look. The suboption is set from 3D to 2D.
When switching back to column charts 2D is kept as the column chart is available
in 2D.
