------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Sat Jan 6 02:40:01 -0800 2007 ------- The issue is not about double-click but the "open with" entry of the contextual menu (right-click menu) On a system where OO.o is not registered as a office doc handler : 1. first invocation of "Open with" on an office doc should open a popup prompt with the apps windows know about, somewhere in the list one should find OO.o 2. after selecting OO.o it should open the current file in OO.o 3. after closing the app, the contextual file manager menu of every other file of this type should propose "Open With 1. OpenOffice 2. something else" 4. selecting Oo.o should lauch the app properly on the file (this is where I get the "app not found" error) At no point the main type association switches from Office to OpenOffice Do all these steps (1-4) work for you? My test system is corporate windows 2000 SP4 --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
