I had a document with several images that had been added via drag and drop
(AFAIR). WHen loading the document, some images weren't displayed. I think there
was something like "read error" (German: "Lesefehler") displayed instead of the
image. As I wanted to see the images I decided to save and then load the
document again. Unfortunately the images were finally gone!
I have the suspect that the "read error" was actually a kind of "out of memory"
as I had some other applications running as well. The PC has plenty of RAM (plus
swap space), but I had reported a similar problem on another PC as well (issue
21103). There must be still some reliability problem.
