I checked with "2.1.0 German version WIN XP: [680m6(Build9095)]" and found
"Tigrinya" integrated in the languages list box under menu "Tools - Options -
Languages".
Because of this, the aoutdated OOo version and the rather unclear report I will
close this issue.
@simoncsd:
Pls. feel free to open a new issue if your find out that the problem is still
existing with a current stable OOo version, but:
Please first read our guidelines on

then contribute a clear step by step instruction containing containing all

you used.
- All details how you installed the language pack.
- Your Linux contribution
