Your translators have be familiar with this guide. Its better to translate at least elements table into your language to avoid misundrestanding. As you can see, 'embedvar' element is handled in table. This means, in this major release process it will be so. As Help version 2 is the first Help, translated into many languages, authors have a lot feedback from localizers and sure they will make improvements for next major release (version 3).
