Sorry - but this is not acceptable.

Detection cant guarantee stable results in case flat detection (means using an
URL/suffix only) is used only. Without a deep detection we cant be sure that
e.g. wrong suffixs dont disturb our detection in general. OOo has support for
~250 formats and use more then 300 filter to import/export them. Inside these
database of types/filters exists many ambigous registrations (think about doc,
html, txt etcpp) ... and we have to make sure that EVERY COMBINATION of file
extension and real content will be detected as supported/unsupported feature and
will work as aspected. Further we support specialized office installations where
no flat detection will be possible (because only a content stream is provided as
database blob).

On the other side I've opposite (german: "Einspruch einlegen" .-) ) against the
original version of these dialog ... it was ignored. The same occured at that
time where first bugs was reported related to this XSLT filter dialog ...

The only solution to fix the problem right: Every XSLT filter MUST register a
deep detection service and these service MUST check a given DTD-String. The
dialog has to make sure that these requirements are full filled. Otherwise the
dialog has to cancel any operation.
