Started up OOo 2.1 and re-registered etc. Called up a spreadsheet to ensure that all was working; closed spreadsheet and OOo "desktop" ie there is foreground user interface running. Cehcked task manager soffice.bin at 0% cpu - checked every so often for about 15 minutes. Then left Thinkpad for about 2 hours.
