------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Tue Jan 16 19:38:04 -0800 2007 ------- ovvldc is travelling across Africa at the moment. I don't have access to all the required software to produce new reduced-case, annotated spreadsheets/PDFs, but I have some familiarity with the bug, so let me add some notes based on the files ovvldc previously attached: Look the the border between "Word Search" and "Word Search 1" (it's in the 3rd "block"). *All* the borders in the original spreadsheet are *identical*, 1.00pt in the XLS version and 0.50pt in the ODS version. "AcrobatWin Neil" was exported from Excel on Windows, and "Excel Neil" was exported from Excel on Mac OS X 10.4. Note that in these two PDFs, the border between "Word Search" and "Word Search 1" is an identical width to all of the other borders between items in the left columns. Compare this to the same set of borders in "OOoWin Neil" (exported by OOo 2 on Windows) and "PDF Neil" (exported by OOo 2.0.3-based NeoOffice 2.0 Aqua Beta 3 on Mac OS X): the border between "Word Search" and "Word Search 1" is much thinner than all the other border lines in the left columns, despite the fact that these borders (programmatically) are the same as all the others. Whether the problem is that a bunch of borders are too thick when printing/appearing in PDFs from OOo, or some of the borders are too thin, I can't answer, but it seems clear that OOo is making some of otherwise identical borders non-identical when printing/exporting to PDF. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
