it was more a documentation issue. You have probably didn't add the notes
installation directrory in your PATH. But nevertheless i changed the example to
use the new simple bootstrap mechanism and the make file will always dump a
message that external API are used in this example.
In future the PATH has to be extended to the Notes installation directory and
the CLASSPATH to the Notes.jar.
